Create was commissioned to work in plantation primary school through the extended schools programme in Knowsley. The workshops we ran were after school and included parents working with their children. Everybody enjoyed the workshops and most of the group took work home to finish - including the parents! The parents found a new creative outlet and were as proud of their finished animations as their children. Plantation school was a warm and friendly school to work in and was a good opportunity to work with both children and their families.
"Thanks very much for a wonderful and exciting project which inspired the children and the parents alike...I would love for you to work with us again...Thanks again for your enthusiasm and professionalism. It was a fantastic group."

As part of the creative partnerships programme in 2009, Create teamed up with feeling good theatre company to deliver what the academy said couldn’t be done. We created four films for the basis of a soap opera to be developed by the school. Create ran training on using the equipment and brought in a professional script writer Michael Wynne who helped the different year groups from years 7 - 10 to develop their scripts. The students were helped to devise, act, script and film their work and then incorporated the films into aspects of the school curriculum.
"One of the most interesting projects run during the last academic year (2008 / 2009)"

Create was asked to hire some of their equipment to the BBC who were running the remembrance campaign in the north west. Initially it was all about just using the computers for the internet but we soon became more involved in the day helping to scan in artifacts, documents and pictures to be put on the remembrance website. The day went problem free and was a fantastic experience to hear memories from both the great wars from people from across Merseyside.
"...I would like to say thank you for your help and hard work at the event in Liverpool...Over 900 people through the door..."

Another Creative Partnerships programme in 2009; we ran programmes for the school who were exploring their opening minds curriculum to increase creativity with year 7. The programmes covered curriculum topics such as the boy in the striped pyjamas, roman history and transition. The students produced comics, podcasts, animated films on friendship and even a short film about friendship. Some of the workshops were inspected by ofsted who stated that the workshops were pushing independent learning and creativity for those involved in the program.
"...The lessons are pushing the pupils creativity, thinking skills and independent learning..."

In 2007, Create was asked to work with a group of adults in whiston from the Howard-Ward Association. The group was tasked with producing a visual display of their area and their group to accompany the brass section of the Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra at Prescot Church. The adults all had no previous experience in media and were given training on the use of digital cameras and editing software to produce their displays. The group all developed new skills and enjoyed the project which was well received at the concert and was a very moving experience for all involved.
"Create Multimedia was commissioned in June 2007 to work with a group of adults from the Howard Ward association in Whiston...The group had no previous digital media experience and had very limited ICT skills...The workshops enabled all involved to develop skills confidently. Create Multimedia now works alongside other arts officers and has been successful in delivering all work fantastically"

Before Create was officially launched, we offered guidance to the center manager and inspiration and motivation to allow them to move forward in a completely new direction. Organising some initial joint training on software and providing information helped the center to move entirely from PC to apple equipment which transformed their center, including the attendance which jumped up from 80% to 94% in a very short space of time.
"...I am writing to thank you for your support in inspiring and motivating us to embark on a unique transformation....with your support we have created a learning center that is more effective in meeting the needs of learners of the future...I would also like to thank you for organising the initial training. Since this we have also become a regional training center so we can deliver training to Liverpool schools."
